A: Germ Juice® is a safe & special fluorescent non toxic liquid used to safely cause a glowing effect on the hands to simulate germs. It is neither a cream, lotion, or oil but simply a liquid. This product will not just wash off like many we have tried. Actual hand washing must be completed and is fully described in our instructional information provided with our products. This product is a great teaching aid in proper hand washing training.

Q: Is this stuff safe for my children?

A: Absolutely safe for everyone. Completely NON TOXIC! Always obtain permission from parents when training children. Children may have reactions to certain products that an instructor is not aware of. Some may be allergic prone and should view others training only.

A: Germ Powder™ is a safe non toxic, cosmetically approved  phosphorescent compound that glows bright green under UV/Black Light and also glows in total darkness after light exposure. We have formulated this product to effectively teach correct cleaning methods & show how germs can be transmitted. Small amounts can be seen on the body or objects to show improper cleaning.

Q: What is Germ Juice® Dry Powder?

A: Germ Juice® Dry Powder is a cosmetically approved safe formula fine milled  fluorescent powder which glows bright yellow under UV/Blacklight.  Powder is virtually invisible when lightly applied but glows super bright yellow under UV/Blacklight. Germ Juice® Dry Powder or Germ Juice® Liquid is also used by bio-hazard clean up companies to train personnel in clean up techniques.

Q: I used your products and they don't glow bright, what might I do?

A: First be certain you are in a training area that can be as dark as possible even if you have to create a dark area to put your hands into like a box. Second be sure you are using our UV lights which are real UV and not imitation spray painted glass bulbs. Normally these imitation bulbs look like ordinary bulbs with no ballast above where bulbs screw in. All tube style bulbs dark purple in color are real UV. Most screw in bulbs are mostly imitated and do not have any affect on our products. Purchasing our bulbs will insure reliability.

Q: At what age can children be taught handwashing?

A: There is no exact age to define this question while all children have different learning levels. Some you may know can absorb this at a very early age and some may not. Its up to the instructors or parents to know if a particular student will absorb this concept. Pre school children can learn at home just by example from their parents without the use of any particular product and should be instilled as early in life as possible for the threat of germs is very serious.

Q: Can your hand washing products be used with antiseptic pump soaps and alcohol based hand cleaners without the use of sink washing?

A: No. You must fully wash hands with water and soap with our products. Also use of non hand washing under water methods are not 100% effective in eliminating germs. Most say 99% effective or less.

Q: Are your uv lights safe?

A: Yes. All of our lights are long wave and pose little risk of harm. Never look directly into ANY light as this could cause several issues. Black lights also known as ultra violet lights have been around for many years entertaining bedroom fluorescent products and theatrical stage effects without issues. Do not use LED black lights with our products. Bulbs/Tubes ONLY.
